US Treasury bonds went down after the release of labor market and inflation data that may lead the Federal Reserve to a more accommodating policy. However, the expansionary fiscal policy of Donald Trump’s administration that aims to fetch resources out of tariffs, may refrain the central bank from cutting the interest rate. The European Central Bank (ECB) lowered to 2% the interbanking lending costs. Investors think that such a move and the defense spending will be important growth driver for EU’s gdp.
This context has been of benefit to Nyse-listed Ares Management Corporation (+5.1%) and London’s 3i plc (4.5%), both in the BeBeez and eToro stock selection for Trading Floor. benefited of this context. The US alternative asset manager attracted the investments of Parallel Advisors LLC, JP Morgan and Blue Trust Inc.

Market participants are still rewarding UK-listed 3i plc and its subsidiary 3i Infrastructure (+4.5%) for their good results in 1Q25 (see here a previous post by BeBeez).
NYSE-listed TPG (+4.4%), based in the Texas city of Forth Worth, has been in the investors’ spotlight as it acquired UK’s Aurora Energy Research, a provider of climate change analysis, from CGE Partners (press release).
