Voiceline, a German startup revolutionizing field service with cutting-edge voice and AI technology, announced it has raised a €2.4 million seed round, increasing its total funding to €4.2 million. Venture Stars and Scalehouse Capital led the round.
Also joined Cavalry Ventures, who invested in the pre-seed round together with several business angels. Voiceline’s angels include Peter Walz and Jens Schulte-Bockum (both ex-C-level at Vodafone), Florian Huber (founder of United Domains), Julius Göllner (serial entrepreneur & founder of Arrtist Community) Christian Rebernik (ex-CTO at N26) and others. In total, the startup has already raised €4.2 million.
According to the startup, its mission is to free sales teams from tedious administrative tasks to enable true freedom and optimal performance – every day. In the field of voice and AI, VoiceLine aims to be the leading solution for documentation and data analysis.
Founded in 2020 by Nicolas Höflinger and Sebastian Pinkas, the Munich-based startup has developed a solution that enables field staff to record customer interactions using voice input. An AI analyzes the inputs, recognizes industry-specific jargon and terminology, and transfers them into automated follow-up processes.
In this way, the startup not only wants to significantly reduce the follow-up time for customer appointments, but also ensure complete documentation that provides companies with valuable insights: the solution reduces the follow-up time, which can take more than 60 minutes per appointment, by up to 80 percent.
Nicolas Höflinger, Managing Director and co-founder of Voiceline, explained to the German media: “Our discussions with more than 1,000 field sales employees and their managers have revealed two critical problems: excessive time spent on manual documentation and administrative tasks and incomplete data capture. These problems are not being addressed by the large companies in the industry such as Salesforce, Microsoft or Hubspot. We want to solve this.”
In recent years, Voiceline has focused heavily on the field sales of medium-sized companies. After intensive tests with around 400 companies, the startup was able to identify its ideal market. Around 25 medium-sized customers such as Böllhoff, Hawle, Bohnenkamp and Schrauben-Jäger and enterprise customers such as Elis Textilmanagement from France, Hellmann Worldwide Logistics or Julius Blum from Austria are now working with the startup. The company currently reports monthly growth of 50 percent.
