Copenhagen-based founder detection platform Evertrace has acquired Veck, a startup discovery platform for early-stage investors, in a deal aimed at expanding its ability to identify emerging founders before their companies become publicly visible. Financial terms were not disclosed. Evertrace connects data signals to help more than 300 venture capital funds worldwide identify potential investments, while Veck combines founder and company activity with investor-interest signals and human review to surface startups beyond investors’ existing networks. Following the acquisition, Veck’s technology and investor-attention data will be integrated into Evertrace’s detection platform, and all Veck customers will transition to Evertrace. The deal marks Evertrace’s fourth acquisition, following Whisper AI, Seedpoint and Morphais, as the company continues to combine complementary technologies and data sources for early-stage startup discovery.
Evertrace develops a founder detection platform for venture capital investors. Its software aggregates and analyses signals from multiple data sources to help investment firms identify emerging founders and startups, including companies that have not yet publicly launched. The platform works with more than 300 venture capital funds worldwide and focuses on identifying early-stage investment opportunities by tracking indicators of founder activity and company formation.
“Veck has built a strong product with a clear understanding of how early-stage investors discover new opportunities,” said Jacob Graubæk Houlberg, co-founder of Evertrace. “Their technology complements our detection engine and strengthens our ability to identify founders at the earliest stages.”
Veck is a startup discovery platform designed for early-stage venture capital investors. Its technology combines information about founder and company activity with investor-interest signals and human review to help investment firms identify emerging startups beyond their existing networks. The platform focuses on detecting founders and new ventures at an early stage, including before companies become widely visible. Following its acquisition by Evertrace, Veck’s technology and customers are being integrated into Evertrace’s platform.
“We built Veck to help investors discover startups and founders they might otherwise miss,” said Igor Studennikov, CEO of Veck. “We’re proud of the product we created and grateful to the customers who helped shape it. Evertrace shares our focus on early discovery, making it a natural home for what we’ve built.”
Veck’s platform tracks activity associated with emerging founders and companies, alongside signals indicating investor interest. This can help identify individuals who may be building new ventures before publicly announcing their companies. Evertrace plans to incorporate these signals into its existing detection infrastructure, adding investor attention as another indicator for identifying founders at an early stage.
The acquisition will expand its ability to connect different indicators of company formation and founder activity. Veck’s technology also brings its existing customer base into Evertrace, with all customers transitioning to the acquiring platform.
“Investor interest can be an early signal that someone is building something new,” said Simon Bøttkjær, co-founder of Evertrace. “Spotting founders as they start gaining that attention, often before they publicly launch, fits directly into what we do. Veck strengthens that capability, and we’re excited to welcome its customers to Evertrace.”
The acquisition is Evertrace’s fourth, following its purchases of Whisper AI, Seedpoint and Morphais. The company has been bringing together technologies and data sources to expand its founder detection capabilities for venture capital investors.
