Rum Group, formerly known as Rumble Inc., has signed a major capacity lease agreement for its data center in Maysville, Georgia.
As per an SEC filing, the contract is with an unnamed “US-based third-party cloud customer” for access to GPUs and GPU services at the data center site, which is currently under development.
The customer will purchase the GPU services in three tranches, with a total contract value of up to $13.7 billion spread over the tranches and the six-year commercial agreement duration.
The third tranche will be dependent on the customer’s approval of the delivery schedule.
In addition, the contract gives the customer the opportunity to purchase up to 50.81 million shares of Rum Group’s Class A common stock at $0.01 per share. The warrants will vest gradually and are linked to the size of customer purchases.
Rum Group was previously known as Rumble Inc. The company rebranded after it completed the acquisition of German technology group Northern Data, gaining the company’s European footprint. The acquisition went through in June 2026, when Rum Group purchased 85 percent of outstanding common shares of Northern Data.
Rumble was founded as a video platform and cloud services provider that promised not to cancel users. At the time the acquisition was announced, Rumble said the deal would enable it to scale and expand its cloud business, which has now been renamed Quake AI.
Rumble/Quake AI was founded in 2023, and the cloud platform hosts President Donald Trump’s Truth Social platform. Rum Group also operates sites across the US, with the Maysville, Georgia, data center campus currently under development.
The Maysville site was originally pursued by Northern Data, which announced plans for the campus in December 2024. At the time, it was said to offer 120MW, expanding to 180MW, and expected to be operational in the first quarter of 2027.
The company secured a contract with Together AI earlier this year that will see the company providing Nvidia HGX B300 systems as dedicated cloud capacity to the AI firm.
Earlier this month, Rum Group posted its quarterly earnings for the quarter ending June 30, 2026. Revenue was $40.36m, up from $25.08m the year prior. Total expenses, meanwhile, increased to $111.15m, up from $51.7m, resulting in a net loss of $79.144m attributable to Rum Group.
