Scouting Capital & Family Advisors

Boutique investment banks Scouting Capital & Family Advisors (Italy), Excalibur Capital (Poland), Network Corporate Finance (Germany), Quore Capital (The Netherlands), and RA Capital (California), launched Cadenive, an international advisory partnership for supporting clients in complex transactions and cross-border growth opportunities (press release).

Cadenive name combines the concepts of cadence and active reflecting structured agility, coordinated movement and a proactive approach to helping clients create lasting value across borders. The platform will operate as an international partnership built on a solid foundation of shared experience: over the past five years, the founding firms completed 228 transactions, 80 of which were cross-border. Cadenive now has a team of 87 professionals and a network of contacts spanning 20 countries, guaranteeing clients access to expertise and relationships far beyond their home markets, supported by nine offices (Amsterdam, Bologna, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Milan, Parma, San Diego, Turin, and Warsaw).

Filippo Bratta, a managing partner of Scouting Capital & Family Advisors and board member of Cadenive, said: “Cadenive is the result of a ten-year journey, built in collaboration with organisations we have known and held in high regard for over twenty years: Scouting has been one of the driving forces behind this project from the very start. The international dimension that has characterised the development and success of our M&A team from the outset finds a more structured expression in Cadenive: a brand that makes us recognisable, attracts talent and is already drawing in other independent international M&A advisory firms driven by the same spirit as ours. We are entrepreneurs, just as the families and management teams we work with every day are, and those who identify with this model of M&A advisory are beginning to ask us to let them join us. This is why we are keen to make a distinction: we are not a network, we are not an alliance; we are a partnership. It is a deliberate choice, in a market where all our competitors describe themselves as networks or alliances”.

Scouting Capital & Family Advisors is an independent international provider of investment banking services that operates in the fields of Corporate Finance, Family Offices, UHNWI, and Capital Investments. In 2001, the ceo Rinaldo Sassi founded the firm that is in the Consob (the Italian stock market authority) registry. More than 50 professionals who are alumni of top tier financial firms work for Scouting whose Italian offices are in Milan, Parma, Bologna, and Turin.
