Executive search and advisory firm Madison Lincoln has appointed former Colliers UK & Ireland chairman Tony Horrell as a senior advisor.
The hire comes as the firm looks to expand its advisory offering and strengthen its engagement with senior leaders across the real estate sector.
Horrell brings more than 40 years’ experience in real estate and capital markets. He led Colliers’ UK and Ireland business from 2010, overseeing its growth to more than 1,000 employees across 16 offices.
In his new role, he will work with Madison Lincoln’s leadership team on strategic growth, client relationships and market positioning, as well as supporting talent strategy and introducing the firm to senior decision-makers.
Horrell said: “I’ve spent over 40 years in this industry building relationships and working with people, so this role is a natural fit. Madison Lincoln has built an impressive platform with a clear focus on quality, relationships and long-term partnerships.
“I’m looking forward to helping the team strengthen connections across the market and unlock new opportunities. This role allows me to stay close to the breadth of the industry.”
He added: “Real estate remains a people business at its core, and the ability to connect great talent with the right organisations has never been more important.
“Businesses today are navigating greater regulation and ongoing market uncertainty, which makes leadership decisions more critical than ever. The cost of getting senior hires wrong is significant, so taking a considered, thorough approach to talent is essential.”
Tom McNally, co-founder and managing director of Madison Lincoln, said: “Tony’s appointment is a major milestone for us. As a growing business, we recognised the need to further strengthen our senior advisory capability and credibility in a competitive market.
“Tony brings unparalleled experience, insight and relationships, which will be invaluable to both our team and our clients.”
