EU-Startups Summit 2024: Essential reminders to maximise your experience

Join us at the EU Startups Summit 2024 on the sunny island of Malta, as we celebrate our 10th anniversary! With only one day left until the summit, we wanted to make sure you are fully informed and up to date. General information

The Venue: The event will take place entirely at the Mediterranean Conference Centre in Valletta (Triq l-Isptar, Il-Belt Valletta VLT 1645), which is located near a lot of historical sights like the St. Elmo Church, the Boom Defence and the Wuestenwinds beach.
Schedule: The main event will take place on May 9-10, from 9 am to 6 pm. Doors open at 9 am and you can start the day with good coffee and networking. The on-stage program begins at 10 am.
Registration process: You may bring your ticket in digital or printed form or provide us with your full name and ID. While a cloakroom will be available, we recommend not bringing heavy luggage or coats.
Charging your electric devices: Malta predominantly uses the Type G plug, also known as the British three-pin plug, so don’t forget to bring your adapter. Please note that charging stations will not be available at the venue.
Lunch Options: In the Lunch Area on the -1 floor, attendees will find the lunch buffet stands and drinks bars. To access the buffet, attendees must first purchase food tokens. These tokens are €11 each and include food and one drink per token. They can be purchased in the designated areas. If you want to skip the line, you can also buy your tokens online. Here is the link for the first day (9th of May), and the second day (10th of May). The buffet includes Pinsa options, Mini Burgers, Bao Buns, Pasta, Salad options, sandwiches and more!

Agenda, Exhibitors and Speakers

The event agenda is available on the EU-Startups Summit App and will also be included in the event booklet that you’ll get at check-in
The Pitch Competition will take place on Day 2! You can find the finalists in the event booklet and also here.
The event booklet will also show you who is speaking and when including which company they are from. This is also available on the app.
On the App, you can filter attendees by their category (startup enthusiast, corporate, investor) so that you can easily find the people you need.

Time to flip the switch, and put the investors in the hot seat! We have invited 30 high-profile and carefully selected VCs to join us on the main stage to present their investment firm/focus with a 2-3 minute pitch.
The entire event is in person. There will be no live stream or online participation.

Networking Opportunities

EU-Startups Summit App:
- EU-Startups Summit App is available on app stores for Android and iOS.
- Your sign-in information will have been emailed to you already (from Grip). This enables you to create your profile.
- On the app, you can make connections, set up meetings, and find the entire event agenda.
