Green Arrow Capital said that it received from Unicredit a 46.4 million euros project financing facility for restructuring the leasing liabilities for its X-Elio portfolio of six photovoltaic plants with a total power of 18.42 MW (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Green Arrow will also invest these proceeds in revamping the plants.
Keystone, a vehicle that Kryalos launched in February 2022 for investing in UTPs, closed two acquisitions worth a total of 65 million euros (see here a previous post by BeBeez). The fund acquired two real estate-backed single name credits and a portfolio of medium-small tickets credits with SMEs. Kryalos retained Molinari Agostinelli Studio Legale and Bird & Bird. The vendors received assistance from Giovanardi Studio Legale and Chiomenti. Rina Prime Value Services carried on the appraisal of the credits. Keyston has 335 million of assets under management and attracted the UTPs of BPER Banca, Cassa di Risparmio di Volterra, Gruppo BCC Iccrea, Banca Popolare di Sondrio, Banca del Fucino, and other banks.
Gruppo Fire, an Italian NPEs servicer with 19 billion euros of assets undermanagement, appointed Giovanni Iaquinta as coo of Effe46, an unit that launched for investing in single name corporate credits and special situations (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Iaquinta is a seasoned professional for the NPEs sector. Fire is reportedly working on the launch of an UTP fund for which it aims to raise 300 million euros, Sergio Bommarito, the company’s ceo and founder, previously said to BeBeez.
On 22 September, Friday, Valentino Valentini, the Italian vice-ministry for Corporates and Made in Italy, said that the Italian Government is working on the correction of the distortionary effects that the law on NPEs could generate (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Valentini was speaking during the NPL Meeting, an annual event of Milan-listed Banca Ifis, of which Frederik Geertman is the ceo.
