This year FutureTravel Summit will be held on October 27th in Barcelona at the “Fabrica Antigua Estrella Damm” .
The FutureTravel Summit is a premium space gathering over 400 travel innovators & startups, investors, industry leaders, and influencers from across the globe to meet face-to-face, share insights, discuss business strategies and identify global trends that are shaping and impacting the travel industry.
In addition to the captivating keynote speakers and engaging panel discussions, the summit will showcase a thrilling Pitch Competition featuring 10 of the most promising early-stage travel startups on a global scale, as they compete for the title of FutureTravel startup of the year and a prize package valued at €56K .
The Prize Package:
The winning startup team of the FutureTravel Pitch Competition will receive a prize package with a value of €55K+ in credits. The prize package items include the following:

- Exhibition table at the EU-Startups Summit 2024, including 3 event tickets (total package value: ~€2k).
- 5 week Fundraising Masterclass worth €1,200 by Ennea Capital Partners, a program for VC-ready travel tech startups to master raising venture capital.

The selected teams will get a lot of valuable feedback from a jury of well-known venture capital investors: Virginia Bassano (Eight Roads), Victor Cuxart (Nauta Capital), Jan-Frederik Valentin (Ennea Capital Partners), and Marta Pinho (Amadeus Ventures). In addition, we’ll have many more VC firms, business angels and startup accelerators among our attendees.

Fairlyne enables travel operators to generate incremental revenue, improve profitability, and enhance customer satisfaction through their Resale experience while boosting brand loyalty and customer satisfaction.
Flappin’: Launched in 2021, Flappin’ is a B2C that takes away the hassle of planning and choosing different activities to book or give as gifts. Based in Barcelona, Flappin’ has the goal to become a well-known global brand and the top company for gift experiences by making its users truly enjoy their leisure time through surprising and joyful experiences.
Modifly: Based in Berlin, ModiFly provides a seamless retailing platform that enables post-booking ancillary sales for agents and airlines with a focus on the most demanded flight-related ancillaries. Launched in 2021 within Lufthansa Innovation Hub, their white-label solution provides a simple, flexible and quick way for both parties to improve the customer experience and generate additional revenues with virtually zero investments.
Namastay: An optimised booking and payment solution directly integrated into hotels’ websites. Headquartered in Paris, Namastay provides a seamless, engaging and fast booking experience (with Apple Pay and Google Pay), through their “one-click to your room” cloud technology. Since its foundation in 2021, Namastay has helped many hotels increase their website conversion rates by an average of 121%.
OneGrab: Based in Milan, OneGrab was founded in 2014 with the mission to help airports, airlines and train operators offer passengers a local, healthy and seamless F&B experience. OneGrab allows Passengers to order up to 30 mins before departure and their orders and receive them right before boarding.
Rhome: Based in Stuttgart, Rhome is a SaaS solution that enables remote work from any location, it also gives users all the necessary information about Tax compliance, Social Security, and Visa Regulations. They connect the needs of Global Mobility Management and Compliance with everyday life, bringing it all together. Founded in 2022, Rhome aims to be the bridge between life and Global Mobility.
Runway Health: Founded in 2021, Runway Health is a direct-to-consumer telehealth company focused entirely on travel health. Runway makes it more convenient, affordable and accessible to obtain prescription medications for common travel needs such as sleeplessness, diarrhoea, altitude sickness, etc. while ensuring travellers access to a physician for chat-based care before, during and after their journeys. Based in Miami, Runway Health is already available across all 50 American states.
Swifty: Based in Berlin, Swifty is an AI assistant that autonomously manages essential steps of business travel, encompassing planning, booking, payment, and invoicing, all within the chat interface, helping travellers book their business trips in 5 minutes via chat. Backed by Lufthansa Innovation Hub, Swifty focuses on efficiency and speed.
TRVLR: Founded in 2022, TRVLR is a modern hotel booking platform that fully automates commission payments for agencies and hotels. Based in Santa Barbara, TRVLR provides a new way for luxury hotels to attract and convert travel advisors, by offering bookings + payment processing + commission settlement, all-in-one place. This fosters business growth and removes unnecessary administrative work.
Turneo: Headquartered in London, Turneo is a B2B platform that enables travel brands to offer and manage in-destination experiences for their guests. Founded in 2022, Turneo makes it easy for their users to create their own customised stores which curate unique, verified, and personally recommended experiences, providing higher revenues, happier guests, and hassle-free operations.
