Globo, an Italian casual wear, shoes and accessories retail chain owned by the Di Nicola family, is valued more than 800 million euros. That is the figure that shareholders have in mind in order to sell the group..
As far as BeBeez is concerned actually Globo will close year 2014 with quite higher sales and margins than last year. Globo, which owns 62 low cost shops all around Italy, reached 311 million euros in revenues in 2013 and 72 millions in ebitda with a positve net financial position of 115 millions. All the figures are seen improving so if you think of  the current retail sector multiples (the last transaction has been Pittarosso shoes retail chain, at 10x 2014 ebitda, see a previous post by BeBeez) it is easy to come to an enterprise value of quite more than 800 millions.
The Di Nicola is being supported in the deal by La Compagnia Finanziaria, a Milan-based advisory firm which is in talks with some potential investors both among private equity firms and industrial players.
