ESPOO, Finland & ISTANBUL, Türkiye — August 25, 2026 — Sabancı University Inovent A.Ş., Türkiye’s pioneering technology transfer and seed fund organization, in strategic partnership with Gedik University and the Gear UP GSYF program, has officially announced the launch of the Türkiye Pavilion at the upcoming NORDEEP Deep Tech Business Summit 2026. Scheduled for September 16–17, 2026, at the iconic Dipoli venue in Espoo, Finland, the pavilion will serve as a key bilateral gateway for advanced technology, investment, and strategic know-how.
As the Nordic region’s largest and most business-focused deep tech gathering, NORDEEP’s fifth-anniversary edition is set to host over 1,500 attendees, 400+ deep-tech startups, and 150+ specialized international investors. The Türkiye Pavilion represents a major milestone in connecting the fast-growing Turkish engineering and defense ecosystems with the highly sophisticated Nordic market—an area increasingly focused on industrial AI, quantum computing, advanced manufacturing, and dual-use defense technologies.
Facilitating Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs) and Deep Tech Investments
The primary mandate of the Türkiye Pavilion is to catalyze cross-border Proof-of-Concept (PoC) opportunities, transfer high-level industry know-how, and facilitate venture capital investments. Ten highly vetted Turkish startups specializing in deep tech, advanced manufacturing, defense, and dual-use technologies will be selected to showcase their working prototypes and hardware solutions directly inside the pavilion.
With NORDEEP’s unique matchmaking infrastructure and features like the Corporate Innovation Arena and The Discovery Zone, participating Turkish companies will gain direct access to global corporate buyers and specialized VCs who understand intellectual property risks and long R&D cycles.
