Across Europe, LGBTQIA+ founders are building companies in areas where feeling safe, understood, and represented can make a real difference. From mental health and travel to sport, recruitment, dating, social discovery, and wellbeing, these startups are responding to needs that mainstream products have not always fully addressed, with solutions that are more thoughtful, focused, and community-aware.

That context feels especially relevant during Pride month, which is not only a moment for celebration, but also a reminder of the gaps that still exist in access, funding, representation, and visibility. For many LGBTQIA+ founders, identity can still influence how they are perceived, creating an added burden to prove that traction, product quality, and execution should carry more weight than assumptions about who they are.

With that in mind, we’ve put together a list of 10 impactful European startups pushing inclusion forward in practical ways. Together, they show how LGBTQIA+ perspectives can lead to better products, stronger communities, and services that reflect real user needs.

KaldaFounded in 2020 in London, Kalda was created to address depression and anxiety within the queer community by providing accessible and affirming mental health resources. This LGBTQIA+ mental wellness platform is focused on building more inclusive mental health support for people seeking wellbeing tools and mental health care that better reflect LGBTQIA+ experiences and needs.

The platform offers self-guided therapy and mental wellbeing support. The content, created by accredited LGBTQIA+ therapists, is delivered through bite-sized video sessions, guided audio, and courses on topics such as managing anxiety, exploring gender identity, and overcoming loneliness. The app also includes features such as daily affirmations, gratitude journaling, peer support groups, and progress tracking to encourage resilience and community connection.Ksebe

Ksebe is a Bratislava-based mental health platform that makes therapy and personal development more accessible in Slovakia. Founded in 2021, the platform allows users to choose from verified psychologists and book online or in-person sessions in just a few clicks, helping people find the right expert discreetly, quickly, and in a way that feels personal and safe.

While Ksebe is not exclusively focused on LGBTQIA+ users, its inclusion reflects both a co-founder’s connection to the LGBTQIA+ community and the relevance of its mission: making trusted mental health care easier to access. This combination of verified experts, personal fit, and simple booking is particularly meaningful in mental health, where feeling understood can be just as important as finding help quickly.

Lightning_Travel_Recruitment

Lightning Travel Recruitment is a London-based recruitment company focused on luxury travel and hospitality. Founded in 2019, its mission is to make recruitment in travel fairer, more human, and more representative of different identities and backgrounds.

This matters because travel is an industry built on welcoming people, yet its hiring practices have not always reflected that same openness. By helping travel and hospitality companies attract more diverse talent, including queer professionals, Lightning supports workplaces that better understand the communities and travellers they serve.

LVNDR

Headquartered in London, LVNDR Health aims to make sexual healthcare more inclusive and accessible for LGBTQIA+ people. The platform provides tailored remote clinical care, helping reduce the anxiety, distrust, and uncertainty many queer and trans patients can face when navigating traditional healthcare settings.

Through its mobile platform, users can access online consultations, testing support, PrEP care, and medication delivery. By working with existing healthcare providers, LVNDR Health makes these services more discreet, personal, and easier to access. Since its funding in 2021, they have raised €2.0 million.

Nawï-Cosmetics

Founded in 2023, Nawï Cosmetics is a natural and sustainable cosmetics brand founded in Spain. The company focuses on beauty products connected to self-expression, inclusion, and environmental responsibility, with a clear commitment to supporting the LGBTQIA+ community.

Nawï Cosmetics stands out through its vision of beauty as acceptance, empowerment, and authentic identity rather than conformity. They create natural, sustainable skincare that is based on skin needs rather than gender, combining high natural-origin formulas with a clear commitment to LGBTQIA+ inclusion, self-expression, and beauty without stereotypes.

Quouch

Quouch is a Berlin-based, invite-only travel platform for queer people, designed to make travelling, hosting, co-working, and meeting locals safer and more community-driven. Founded in 2022, the platform helps users find trusted places to stay, connect with queer hosts and travellers, discover local recommendations, and feel more at home while on the move.

Their focal point is based on trust, safety, and belonging, where users can filter profiles and houses, increasing the chances of making connections and feeling more secure. Quouch is reimagining ‘couchsurfing’ for queer travellers, turning every trip into a chance to find your people.

rallyBarcelona-based Rally is a digital community for LGBTQIA+ sports and fitness, designed to give every member safer and easier access to physical activity, teams, events, and like-minded people. Founded in 2023, the platform connects everyone from professional athletes and Olympic medalists to weekend hikers, gym enthusiasts, local team organisers, and online fitness instructors.

Its technology is built around mobile community discovery, allowing users to find LGBTQIA+ sports teams, events, workout groups, and fitness activities nearby. At the same time, it gives organisers a dedicated tool to promote sessions, reach new participants, and grow their communities. By making it easier to connect with teams, join group workouts, and meet like-minded people, Rally helps users feel part of a safe and supportive sports community.

Taimi

Taimi is a dating and social app designed to cover the full queer spectrum. Founded in 2017 and headquartered in Ukraine, the platform combines dating, chat, social networking, and discovery features, helping users connect for relationships, friendships, casual conversations, and community-building across a global user base.

Its technology is built around an all-in-one dating and social networking experience, using profile cards, preferences, location-based discovery, messaging, and premium features to help users find compatible connections. Taimi is building a global queer dating platform where love, identity, and connection are not treated as one-size-fits-all.

vibes

Vibes is a Paris-based LGBTQIA+ social network designed to help queer people discover meetups, events, groups, places, and associations in their city. Founded in 2023, the platform moves away from traditional dating-app mechanics such as swiping and heavy filters, focusing instead on more authentic, real-life connections through group outings and local community activities.

Their platform is built around local social discovery, allowing LGBTQIA+ users to find queer events, friendly places, associations, and people nearby through its mobile and web platform. Instead of relying on swiping or heavy filters, Vibes helps users connect through shared activities, group outings, messaging, and community-led events, making it easier to meet people in a more natural and authentic way.

voda

Founded in 2022, Voda is a digital wellbeing app designed specifically for LGBTQIA+ communities, offering mental health support that reflects queer lived experiences. Based in London, the app provides self-guided therapy programmes, mindfulness exercises, journaling-style tools, and practical wellbeing content around topics such as coming out, queer shame, family rejection, minority stress, relationships, gender dysphoria, anxiety, and self-compassion.

Voda is expanding its mental health companion for queer people with €1 million in funding, delivering care that is more accessible, inclusive, and relevant to their needs.
