Rent2Cash (R2C), an Italian lease advance fintech that Gianluca Fioranelli, Yilang Chen and Marco Grassi founded in 2023, is mulling for a further fundraising round after having secured a 100 million euros in equity and securitizations in March 2026 (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Stiven Muccioli joined the R2C board of directors in charge of fundraising and M&A as SM Capital, a venture capital that he created, acted as lead investor. BeBeez data say that SM Capital directly purchased 4.55% of R2C and 6.82% through Faro Innovation Global, a vehicle that Crestbridge manages. Finint Investments acquired 2.41% of R2C. Muccioli added that the company aims to grow through M&A for which it will be necessary to raise further resources.
Soource said it attracted seed resources of 3 million euros from lead investor Vertis Venture, Swiss Tenity, Club degli Investitori and 360 Capital’s 360 Digitaly, a vehicle that has the support of CDP Venture Capital (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Maicol Verzotto, Nazareno Mario Ciccarello, Silvia Chiarot, Serena Galli, and Luca Taddeo founded Soource in 2024 and will invest such proceeds in the company’s proprietary technology. Alessandro Pontari is a partner of Vertis Venture. Guillermo Forteza is an Investment Lead Europe (INC II) of Tenity. Lucrezia Lucotti is a partner of 360 Capital. Bestie Bite said it raised 1.5 million euros through a SAFE (Simple Agreement for Future Equity) that the Grassi Family‘s holding G&G, an investor in E80 Group,led (see here a previous post by BeBeez). The company previously attracted 0.7 million US Dollars from Techstars, Zooga VC, Mamba Ventures, Christian Marcon, Angelo La Rocca, and Claudio Vaccaro. Carlotta Robbe Di Lorenzo, Caterina Vertefeuille, Placido Falqueto, and Simone Ferretti founded Bestie Bite in 2021.
Niino, a med-tech startup, raised pre‑seed resources of 1.26 million euros from 40 Jemz Ventures, Michele Grazioli, Danila De Stefano, Massimiliano Squillace, Alessandro Braga, Francesco Zaccariello, and Fabrizio Perrone (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Alessandro Monterosso (ceo) Ferdinando Lanzillo and Ferdinando Iacuaniello are the founders of Niino. David Erba and Nicola Macrì founded 40 Jemz Ventures in 2021. Cloov, an Italian fashion-tech that Chiara Airoldi (coo) and Olimpia Santella (ceo) founded in 2023, said it attracted one million euros deom StyleIT (lead investor – a 5.64 million programme that CDP Venture Capital, Startupbootcamp and Gellify launched in 2023 for supporting up to 10 startups per year), Maze Impact and Gateway Ventures (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Cloov will invest such proceeds in its organic growth and also announced the launch of its proprietary software Uplyst. Matteo Tritto (cto) is the company’s late co-founder.
The Italian Ministry for University and Research (MUR) and Invitalia launched a call for tender for appointing through InGaTe the financial firms that will handle 219 million euros for supporting applied research, technology transfer and innovative investment in production for the South of Italy (see here a previous post by BeBeez). The application deadline is 20 July, Monday.
