Copenhagen-based aftersales technology company Claimlane has raised €5.6 million in a Series A round backed by Verb Ventures, Skagerak Capital and Vendep Capital. The company provides an aftersales product resolution platform that connects brands, retailers, suppliers, manufacturers and repair partners to manage warranty claims, repairs, replacements and supplier claims. The funding will support the development of specialised AI agents designed to automate complex aftersales workflows based on each customer’s products, warranty policies and supplier agreements, while also accelerating Claimlane’s expansion in the US, its largest market for new customer acquisition this year.
Claimlane provides an aftersales product resolution platform for brands and retailers. Its system connects customers, retailers, suppliers, manufacturers and repair partners to manage processes involving warranty claims, product repairs, replacements and supplier claims. By consolidating case information and workflows, the platform helps businesses coordinate product-related issues and automate parts of their aftersales operations. The company has offices in Copenhagen, London and Austin.
“The demand we’re seeing from US brands and retailers makes our next move clear: we’re investing in building a major business here,” said CEO and co-founder Anders Sommer. “With this funding, we’ll continue building AI agents that learn and handle complex aftersales workflows across the supply chain.”
Claimlane plans to use the new capital to develop AI agents that can handle more of the work involved in resolving faulty product claims. The agents are being built around individual customers’ product catalogues, warranty policies, supplier agreements and internal processes. They will assess case information against these requirements and help move claims towards resolution, with human involvement retained where judgement is needed.
The company aims to extend the agents’ capabilities across different industries, including electronics, furniture and outdoor equipment. Resolving a product issue can involve several parties, from the original customer and retailer to the manufacturer, supplier and repair provider. Claimlane’s platform is designed to coordinate these interactions within a single workflow.
The company says its network includes more than 20,000 retailers and brands. Its customers include Skechers, Black Diamond, tonies® and Hummel.
“Claimlane helped us turn our aftersales department from a cost center into a profit center. By reducing the manual work involved in handling claims, we freed up our team to build a repairs program that generates revenue through paid repairs and sales of repaired products,” said Tess Jordan, Senior Manager of Customer Experience at Black Diamond.
For some customers, automating aftersales processes has also created opportunities to generate revenue from repairs. Black Diamond, for example, said reducing manual claims processing enabled its team to establish a paid repair programme and sell repaired products.
“With Claimlane, we can reduce manual work as we expand globally, allowing us to support far more families while delivering the same seamless experience across all our markets. Getting support should be as simple and intuitive as putting a Tonie on the Toniebox,” said Lauren Cooper, Director Global Customer Happiness at tonies®.
The funding will also support Claimlane’s expansion in North America, where the company says it has seen growing demand from brands and retailers. The US has become its largest market for new customer acquisition in 2026, with sales opportunities increasing 150% year-on-year and newly created pipeline value doubling.
“We believe enduring AI businesses will combine specialised knowledge with the ability to execute within real workflows,” said Alexey Bulygin, Principal at Verb Ventures. “Claimlane’s network and operational role provide a foundation that is difficult to replicate with AI alone. That is central to our investment thesis.”
As part of the expansion, CEO and co-founder Anders Sommer has relocated to Austin, Texas, to lead the company’s US operations. Claimlane already has offices in Copenhagen, London and Austin.
The company sees increasing demand from businesses looking to maintain consistent customer service as they expand across markets. Its AI development and US growth plans are intended to address the operational complexity of managing product issues across larger and more geographically distributed supply chains.
The €5.6 million Series A was backed by Verb Ventures, Skagerak Capital and Vendep Capital. The company did not disclose the individual contributions of the investors.
