Digital Realty has started work on a new data center in Paris, France.
Equans Data Centers this week announced it has been appointed general contractor for the design, construction, and commissioning of its latest data center, PAR15.
Located on a former French Air Force site northeast of Paris in Dugny, the three-story PAR15 is set to offer 66MW across 23,320 sqm (251,014 sq ft). Equans said construction began in December 2025 and will be delivered in four phases. The first phase, due for delivery in 2027, will offer 12MW.
David Montrieux, regional construction director, Digital Realty, said: “PAR15 is a key milestone in our continued expansion in France, and selecting Equans Data Centers as strategic general contractor reflects their strong track record in delivering complex, mission-critical facilities. Their ability to lead an experienced consortium and execute with a clear focus on safety, quality, and sustainability will be instrumental as we bring this new capacity online for our customers.”
At full build-out, the Dugny Digital Hub will feature three data centers: PAR15, PAR16, and PAR17. The three buildings will provide more than 65,000 sqm (699,654 sq ft) of IT space and 176MW of IT capacity.
The site had reportedly been vacant since 2011. Digital has been looking to develop the site since at least 2024.
A subsidiary of the Bouygues group, Equans said it has delivered 340,000 sqm (3.6 million sq ft) of data hall space and more than 790MW of IT capacity.
Xavier Perdereau, EVP Equans Data Centers, added: “We are proud to continue our long-standing partnership with Digital Realty in France. The proposed build-to-suit development in Dugny represents a significant milestone in Digital Realty’s European expansion and market share growth for its IT service clients. Equans Data Centers is thrilled to support this strategic initiative by delivering a high-performance, future-ready facility that meets the evolving needs of the digital economy.”
Digital Realty operates around a dozen other data centers across Paris.
