Chartwell Noble bolsters Worcestershire team with Nicholas Kendrick appointment

Chartwell Noble has appointed Nicholas Kendrick as a self-employed partner agent covering the Worcestershire prime country house market.
Based in the county, Kendrick will focus on the sale of country houses and village homes across East Worcestershire. Under the firm’s partner agent model, he will manage transactions from instruction to completion.
Kendrick has operated a family holiday rental business called River Stream Holidays since 2015. More recently, he worked as a partner associate at Fine & Country in Worcestershire.
Kendrick commented: “Having worked within an established premium brand and run my own property business, I was looking for a structure that combined independence with serious backing.
“The self-employed model that Chartwell Noble offers allows me to take full ownership of the client relationship and the outcome, from valuation through to completion, while leveraging the strength of a fast-growing and ambitious brand.”
Ross D’Aniello, co-founder and CEO of Chartwell Noble, added: “Bringing Nick on as a Partner Agent in Worcestershire is a strategic move for Chartwell Noble. He combines a proven track record in the premium and country homes market with genuine entrepreneurial experience and a deep understanding of his patch.”
ARL appoints Andrew Teacher as special advisor

The Association for Rental Living (ARL) has appointed Andrew Teacher as special advisor for sector strategy and development.
Teacher has worked in the residential and build-to-rent sectors for more than 20 years. Early in his career, he worked at the British Property Federation before joining IPD.
He later founded Blackstock Consulting, advising institutional investors including M&G Real Estate, Grainger, Legal & General, LaSalle and Apache Capital. During that time, he worked with development and operational teams on residential brands including Essential Living, Moda Living and Nido.
After selling Blackstock in 2022, Teacher joined the John Lewis Partnership, where he spent three years supporting its build-to-rent platform and planning activity.
Teacher recently co-founded Lauder Teacher with former Goodbody investment banker Colm Lauder. The firm advises clients across Europe on strategic communications, investor relations and business development.
In his new role, Teacher will advise ARL and its members on policy engagement, regulation, investor relations and reputational issues affecting the rental living sector.
Teacher is also an executive committee member at the Urban Land Institute.
Teacher said: “Now, more than ever, it’s vital that the sector can speak with a united voice and ensure it’s at the table to influence how policymakers and investors shape it.
“I’ve learned a lot over the years working with many amazing people, and having had the privilege of advising global institutions, often at the early stage of their businesses, has given me a huge depth of insights which I’m happy to share.
“Giving back to the sector is an important part of how we still do business, so I’m delighted to be able to support the market in this role with the ARL.”
