Vilnius-based WhiteBridge AI has raised €2.6 million in a seed round led by FIRSTPICK VC, with backing from First Degree, NGL.VC, Scalewolf.VC, BADideas.fund, Nectolabs, and Plug and Play, alongside angel investors. Founded in 2024, the startup is building an AI-powered people research engine that aggregates, verifies, and analyses fragmented public data to generate decision-ready digital identity reports, targeting use cases from sales intelligence to partner due diligence. With the fresh capital, WhiteBridge plans to expand its network of data sources and double down on data provenance, integrity, and explainability—key to helping users understand not just what the system finds, but how it arrives at those insights—as it positions itself as a faster, more transparent alternative to traditional background checks.
Founded in 2024, WhiteBridge AI is building a platform that aggregates and analyses publicly available data to generate structured reports on individuals’ digital footprints. The company positions its product as a tool for verifying online identity signals, offering use cases across sales preparation, hiring, partner due diligence, and personal reputation monitoring. Its system pulls data from multiple sources, cross-checks information, and delivers insights designed to help users assess credibility and risk.
“Most people don’t realise how much information about them is already circulating online, and even fewer understand how it can shape their personal and professional opportunities. With WhiteBridge, we’re here to bring clarity and control to that chaos. Our platform gives people and businesses a reliable way to understand and manage online identity signals – so they can act with confidence,” said Tomas Martūnas, co-founder of WhiteBridge AI.
The funding will be used to expand the platform’s data coverage and improve how information is validated and explained to users. A key focus for the company is strengthening data provenance and transparency, as scrutiny grows around how AI systems interpret and present personal data. WhiteBridge also plans to further develop its analytical capabilities, including behavioural and career insights derived from aggregated online activity.
WhiteBridge enters a growing market of AI-driven intelligence tools that aim to streamline background research and reduce reliance on manual verification. As more professional and personal interactions move online, the company is betting on demand for faster, automated ways to assess digital identity—while navigating the challenges around accuracy, bias, and privacy that come with analysing publicly available personal data at scale.
