Delphyr, an Amsterdam-based AI platform that supports medical professionals with AI agents, today announced it has raised €1.75 million to accelerate its mission to reduce the administrative burden on healthcare professionals.

Multiple investors participated in the round, including the founders of Hugging Face and DEGIRO.

Michel Abdel Malek, CEO and founder of Delphyr, explained, “Healthcare professionals often spend a significant portion of their time on administrative work and searching for information. From my experience as an anesthesiologist, I know how frustrating that can be. With this investment, we can further develop and expand our AI agents so professionals get time back from day one, while maintaining the highest standards of privacy, security, and clinical quality.”

Across 2025–2026, EU-Startups reporting shows continued funding activity in AI-enabled healthcare workflow automation, including clinical documentation, voice-based follow-up, and operational agent layers.

Recent rounds include Stockholm-based Tandem Health’s €42.6 million Series A to reduce the administrative burden on clinicians through AI-powered documentation; Berlin-based voize’s €43 million Series A focused on reducing administrative workload in nursing care; Spain-based Tucuvi’s €17 million Series A to scale its voice-AI care management solutions within healthcare systems; Warsaw-based Jutro Medical’s €12 million Series A funding; and Vienna-based XUND’s €6 million pre-Series A funding.

Earlier-stage activity includes Antwerp-based Mindoo’s €5m Seed round; Oslo-based Noteless’ €3.5 million Seed round; Hamburg-based elea’s €4 million Seed round; and Berlin-based Aiomics’ securing €2 million pre-Seed financing.

Founded in 2023, the platform helps healthcare professionals in hospitals, primary care, and mental health settings by providing quick search and summary features. It consolidates patient data from notes, lab results, and correspondence for a clear overview.

According to Delphyr, users can access relevant clinical guidelines and trusted sources instantly. The system optimises specialised workflows by enabling the preparation of patient summaries, consultation notes, drafting responses for correspondence and e-consults, and automating administrative tasks. It also supports ambient listening by securely capturing consultations and automatically transforming them into structured clinical notes, directly linked to the patient record.

The startup claims to connect with existing healthcare systems, so professionals don’t have to learn new software or use complicated dashboards. The platform runs on secure European infrastructure and processes patient data exclusively within the practice environment. The company does not replace existing systems; instead, it adds an intelligent layer that improves accessibility and streamlines workflows.

In 2024, the company secured a convertible loan of €275,000 from Innovatiefonds Noord-Holland.
