On 1 March 2026, Barcelona will once again host the GLOBALS Tech Festival 2026, known as “GSTF26”, marking its fourth edition and setting the tone for the week of MWC Barcelona and 4YFN. Positioned just ahead of the major industry gatherings, the one-day event aims to convert pre-conference momentum into tangible outcomes for founders, investors and corporate leaders.
Held at The Social Hub Barcelona Poblenou, GSTF26 will take place in Barcelona’s 22@ innovation district, an area known for its concentration of tech companies and creative spaces. The venue combines hotel accommodation, coworking facilities and event areas in a single campus-style setting, enabling attendees to move from formal sessions to informal conversations throughout the day. With on-site accommodation and shared social spaces, organisers are positioning the festival as a more relaxed and community-oriented entry point into MWC week.
A celebration of growth and action
Under the theme “Celebrating Growth”, the programme will feature more than 60 speakers across keynotes, panel discussions and workshops. In addition to stage content, the agenda includes curated matchmaking sessions, VIP gatherings, an exhibitor showcase, an Open Pitch segment, community activations and an afterparty. The focus, according to organisers, is on creating an environment that facilitates partnerships, capital discussions, market entry conversations and cross-border collaboration rather than purely promotional exposure.
This year’s edition will also highlight a strong Argentinian presence. An official delegation led by Darío Leandro Genua, Argentina’s Secretary of Innovation, Science and Technology, will attend alongside around 100 Argentinian tech companies seeking to connect with European partners and investors ahead of MWC week. The event will also host Simon Schaefer, co-initiator of the EU-Inc initiative and President of Allied for Startups, bringing a European policy and scale-up perspective to discussions on growth and expansion.
Mario Paladini, CEO and Co-founder of Club GLOBALS, said: “GSTF26 is where builders arrive before MWC and leave with a network for the week. We are bringing the right people into the same room and making it easy to connect.” Nicolás Ventura, COO and Co-founder, continued by adding: “We designed #GSTF26 for leaders who want a relaxed and intimate atmosphere during MWC. If you are scaling, partnering, or expanding into new markets, this is the fastest way to meet the right decision-makers.”
From Barcelona to a global tour cycle
Founded in Berlin in 2012 and now headquartered in Barcelona, Club GLOBALS describes itself as a growth acceleration club centred on networking, diversity and action. Its broader ecosystem includes more than 55,000 tech professionals, over 200 events and more than 20 partner communities worldwide. The organisation also operates GLOBALS.tv, a media channel covering interviews and ecosystem updates.
GSTF26 also marks the starting point of the GLOBALS On Tour 26 cycle, a conference-aligned series set to visit more than 12 cities alongside major global tech gatherings! The tour is scheduled to begin in Porto Alegre and continue through hubs including Miami, Berlin and Lisbon, before concluding in Davos during the World Economic Forum. Organisers described the Barcelona festival as the flagship moment that anchors this international cycle.
A limited number of sponsorship and exhibitor packages remain available, including booth presence, speaking opportunities and access to the wider Club GLOBALS community throughout the year. Don’t forget that the GLOBALS Tech Festival 2026 will take place on 1 March 2026 in Barcelona! Further details are available here.
