Cudo Compute has signed a capacity leasing agreement with Conapto for its data centers in Stockholm, Sweden.
Cudo will deploy Nvidia GPUs – including H200s and L40Ss – in the data centers, which are powered by renewable energy.
How much capacity Cudo has leased at the data centers has not been shared.
According to its website, Conpato has four data centers in the Stockholm area. STHLM1 offers 1MW of capacity, STHLM2 4MW, STHLM3 6MW, and STHLM 4 24MW and 1MW of retail colocation space. All of Conapto’s data centers are powered by renewable energy via Vattenfall 24/7 matching, and the latter three listed are connected to district heating networks.
“Weāre excited to partner with Cudo to deliver the infrastructure backbone needed for the next generation of AI applications,” said Stefan Nilsson, CCO of Conapto. “Our facilities are optimized for high-density compute environments and powered by 100 percent renewable energy, making us a natural fit for supporting both performance and sustainability goals.”
“Our partnership with Conapto is crucial as we bring high-performance AI infrastructure to market,” added Matt Hawkins, CEO of Cudo. “Their focus on sustainability and operational excellence aligns perfectly with our mission to deliver efficient, accessible, and environmentally responsible compute resources.”
Cudo Compute is a UK-based company specializing in the development and management of AI infrastructure. The company has clusters deployed in Canada, the US, Australia, the UK, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, South Africa, and Nigeria.
Earlier this year, Conapto issued senior secured bonds worth SEK 500m ($52m), which would be used to restructure existing debt and support investments in the STHLM4 data center.
