Amsterdam-based Orquesta has secured €800K in its oversubscribed pre-seed funding round. The startup, located in Amsterdam, developed one of Europe’s first platforms integrating various Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and configuration management. The funding round was led by AI investor Curiosity VC and was supported by Spacetime (the investment office of Adriaan Mol), Golden Egg Check Capital, Magnetic Fund, Koen Köppen, and other angel investors.
Orquesta, founded by Sohrab Hosseini and Anthony Diaz, has developed a technology specifically tailored for Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) companies and software teams. The company is set to officially launch its platform at the beginning of November 2023, and it will be available for SaaS companies across Europe, North America, and Asia.
This platform is designed to empower businesses to efficiently manage intricate prompts and seamlessly integrate, streamline, and monitor diverse Large Language Models (LLMs) – all without the need for coding or dealing with the challenges of maintaining complex and ever-evolving integrations. Through Orquesta, SaaS companies can access a unified gateway to directly incorporate various LLM models from leading providers, such as OpenAI, Azure, Google, Hugging Face, and Cohere, into their operations. Furthermore. They prioritize enterprise-grade security and privacy, providing organizations with the tools to comply with EU regulations and build secure products.
Sohrab Hosseini, co-founder of Orquesta said: “The accelerated development of new AI functionalities, leads to increased fragmentation, complexity and a need for speed within the technology landscape for our clients. This prevents the already scarce talent of our clients from focusing on strategic work and growth. With one LLM gateway, including all the necessary tooling, Orquesta is their partner to remain competitive”
All interactions and data are consolidated within one clear dashboard, simplifying the process of experimenting with different prompts in various models, as well as facilitating localization and personalization. In addition, the platform empowers clients of the technology startup to collect feedback directly from end users, domain experts and other AI models. These features, combined with real-time insight into performance and costs, make for optimized results at all times, reducing SaaS companies’ release cycles from weeks to minutes, and minimising the costs associated with experiments and production environments.
Herman Kienhuis, managing partner of Curiosity VC: “The availability of Large Language Models (LLMs) offers tremendous opportunities. With Orquesta, Sohrab and Anthony have developed a no-code platform that allows companies to easily configure, test, and manage complex prompts and various LLMs, leading the way in the market to assist companies in the application of these new Generative AI technologies.”
