EnValue and MSE Solar, two German renewable energy companies, received from NORD/LB (Norddeutsche Landesbank – Girozentrale) a 41 million euros project financing “multi-borrower” facility for the construction of six photovoltaic plants with a total power of 48 MWp based in Udine area, in the North Easte of Italy (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Arcus Financial Advisors, Parola Angelini, Bird & Bird, and Bernoni Grant Thornton assisted the sponsors and the borrowers. NORD/LB appointed DLA Piper, EOS Consulting and Euro Transaction Solutions. Fred Garside is the ceo of MSE Solar.
Acque, an Italian utility, received 225 million euros from Banco BPM, BBVA, BNL BNP Paribas, BPER, Credit Agricole, Intesa Sanpaolo, Mediobanca, MPS, and UniCredit, and F2i (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Acque will invest such resources in extending the tenure of its liabilities maturing in 2030. The company also received a 130 million financing facility from the European Investment Bank (EIB) for improving the sewers network of 55 municipalities in Tuscany. Banca Finint, Mediobanca and Studio Legale Cappelli RCCD advised Acque.
Mediocredito Centrale (MCC), a subsidiary of Gruppo Invitalia (a company that belongs to theItalian Ministry of Economy and Finance), invested 10 million euros in Anthilia BIT IV a vehicle of Anthilia Capital Partners (see here a previous post by BeBeez). BIT IV announced the final closing of the fundraising with a total of 225 million in commitments. The fund previously attracted 70 million from the European Investment Fund and 40 million from the Enpam, the pension fund of the Italian physicians and dentists.
