Swiss biotech Nouscom secured a series D round of 120 million euros and attracted the resources of M Ventures (the corporate venture capital of Merck), Revelation Partners, Neva, Angelini Investments, and Aurea, a vehicle that the European Investment Bank launched with Angelini Ventures (see here a previous post by BeBeez). The company also received the support of 5AM Ventures, Andera Partners, Angelini Ventures, Bpifrance – InnoBio2, CDP Venture Capital, EQT Life Sciences, Indaco Venture Partners, Panakès Partners, Versant Ventures, and XGEN Ventures. Marina Udier is the ceo of Nouscom which raised a total of 250 million since Riccardo Cortese, Alfredo Nicosia, Stefano Colloca, Antonella Folgori, Elisa Scarselli, Cinzia Traboni, and others founded it in 2015, BeBeez data say. Abingworth and Revelation Partners previously poured resources in the business. Mario Costantini is the ceo of Neva. Sergio Marullo di Condojanni is the ceo of Angelini Industries and vicepresident of Angelini Investments. Active Label attracted 2.1 million euros worth seed resources from Eureka! Venture, Farming Future (a vehicle that CDP Venture Capital launched with ToSeed & Partners) and Banco di Sardegna – Spoke4Fin (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Alpeggiani e Associati acted as deal advisor. Active Label raised 3.16 million since Carlo Maria Carbonaro, Daniele Chiriu and ceo Pier Carlo Ricci founded it in 2021. Andrea Pinna is the company’s chief operating officer. Giovanni Ferri, the ceo of ToSeed, will join the Active Label board. Massimo Gentili, a partner of Eureka, is a director of Active Label.
XmetaReal said it attracted 1.5 million euros from Challenge Network, a firm the ceo Roberto Santori heads, and other investors (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Vittorio Zingales is the founder of XmetaReal which aims to generate a turnover of above 10 million in the next 4 years.
Panakès Partners raised 8.5 million euros from Lombardia Venture STEP, the fund of funds of the Lombardy Region that Finlombarda manages (see here a previous post by BeBeez). The firm will allocate such resources in Panakès Fund – Fondo Parallelo Lombardia, a co-investment vehicle. Fabrizio Landi, Alessio Beverina and Diana Saraceni founded Panakès Partners in 2015 while Lorenzo Giordano is the cfo.
