BeBeez Trading Floor roundup with eToro support about the performances of private capital firms listed on global exchanges.
Several listed private capital firms gained benefit out of the stabilisation of traders’ expectations regarding interest rates, as they have come to terms with the shift towards a more restrictive stance announced in recent weeks by the major central banks.
London-listed Bridgepoint Capital ended the week with a 22% surge. The markets reacted extremely positively to the rise in value of ProEnergy, a Missouri-based portfolio company of the fourth fund that Energy Capital Partners (ECP), an asset management firm specialising in the energy sector and related industries, handles. ProEnergy manufactures high-efficiency gas turbines for electricity generation, which allow data centres to meet peak energy demand. The company alone accounts for 13% of the fund’s performance fees. Bridgepoint manages assets worth 8 billion US Dollars and revised the US company’s EBITDA margin for 2026 and 2027 upwards to around 60% and expects ProEnergy to account for 25% – 30% of the group’s total revenue, up from the 20%–25% estimated in 1H26. Furthermore, Bridgepoint raised the cash multiple – that is, the ratio of valuation to investment outlay for ProEnergy – to over 4X.

The directors of Nyse-listed Blue Owl (+4.5%) provided reassurances and confirmation regarding the stability of cash flows, emphasising that a large proportion of revenue comes from predictable, high-margin management fees, thereby allaying fears regarding redemption requests which had previously spooked the markets.
Nyse-listed Apollo Global Management (+4.1%) and the firms in its percentile continue to operate on a global scale through major M&A deals and strategic acquisitions (such as their strong focus on the insurance sector and significant transactions), proving a strong ability to deploy capital despite a complex macroeconomic environment.
These factors are boosting investor optimism, thereby easing the pressure from investors to redeem their units – a situation that became a nightmare for private equity operators in 3Q26.
