WeRoad (WR), a travel tech that Paolo De Nadai founded in 2017, attracted 10 million euros through a capital increase that a club deal of UHNWIs clients of UniCredit (see here a previous post by BeBeez). WR issued 382000 new shares at 0.0295 million euros each and A&B Trustee Partners with new investors acquired 380500 items (see here the Public Notary Act available for the subscribers to BeBeez News Premium and BeBeez Private Data). The company’s main shareholders are OneDay Group, H14 (the family office of Luigi Berlusconi, Barbara Berlusconi and Eleonora Berlusconi) and Airbnb which acted as lead investor in the Series C Round that WR secured in May 2026. Beelzebub, an AI-based cybersecurity company that ceo Mario Candela founded in 2025, secured a 3 million euros seed round that United Ventures led (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Beelzebub attracted a total of 3.3 million since its birth and will invest the resources of its last round in opening bureaus in Rome and San Francisco and its organic growth. In August 2025, the company attracted pre-seed resources of 0.3 million. Massimiliano Magrini is the co-founder and managing partner of United Ventures. Aflabox, an Italian agritech startup that Luca Alinovi and Fabrizio Cardillo founded in 2024, attracted 1.35 million euros worth seed resources from FoodSeed – CDP Venture Capital, an acceleration programme that Eatable Adventures and Accelera Ventures manage (see here a previous post by BeBeez). The company will invest such proceeds in its proprietary technology and expanding its domestic presence as well as in Kenya and Nigeria. Aflabox also received the support of Farming Future, a vehicle that CDP Venture Capital launched with ToSeed & Partners. LCA Studio Legale advised Foodtech Accelerator and Eatable Adventures. Matteo Nuzzo assisted Farming Future while Gamlex acted as public notary.
