Milan-listed Banca Ifis ceo Frederik Geertman announced the sale of its NPL unit (see here a previous post by BeBeez). The board of directors also announced extraordinary provisions of around 70 million euros and a reduction in the 2026 profit guidance from 170–190 million to 100–110 million. The Fürstenberg Fassio Family has 50.5% of the bank that aims to achieve a signing for the NPL unit’s sale by the end of 2026.
Cesare Tocchio, the chairman of m&a, corporate finance & debt advisory firm CDI Global Italy, is the new managing director EMEA of CDI Global (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Federico Maria Alberto Caligaris, managing director Corporate Development and Industry Groups of CDI Global Italy, will instead act as Corporate Development & Industry Groups EMEA.
