Chestertons promotes Katinka Hill to head of lettings

Katinka Hill

Chestertons has promoted Katinka Hill to head of lettings following almost two decades with the business.

Hill joined the agency in 2007 and has held a number of senior roles, including Director of Fulham Road Lettings, Area Director for South West Lettings and, most recently, Regional Director for Central Lettings.

In her new role, she will oversee Chestertons’ lettings operation across London, having previously managed teams in a number of the capital’s residential markets.

The appointment follows a 19-year career with the agency during which Hill has held a series of leadership positions within the lettings division.

Adam Jennings, head of residential at Chestertons, said: “Throughout her career at Chestertons, she has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership, professionalism and commitment to both our clients and colleagues.

“Katinka’s extensive experience and deep understanding of London’s rental market make her ideally placed to lead our lettings operation. As the market continues to evolve, her expertise will be invaluable in ensuring we continue to deliver the highest levels of service to landlords and tenants across the capital.”

Hill added: “Having spent almost two decades at Chestertons, I am incredibly proud to take on the role of Head of Lettings. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work alongside talented colleagues and support landlords and tenants across many of London’s most dynamic residential markets.

“The lettings sector continues to evolve, particularly following the introduction of the Renters’ Rights Act, and I look forward to working with our teams across London to help clients navigate these changes, build on our success and continue delivering the exceptional service that Chestertons is known for.”

Trevor Banbury Joins Moveli

Trevor Banbury

Central London estate agent Trevor Banbury has joined the Moveli network, bringing more than three decades of experience in the capital’s residential property market.

Banbury has worked across residential sales, lettings, investment and development during a career spanning more than 30 years. His experience includes operating in key Central London markets including Bloomsbury, Covent Garden, Fitzrovia and Soho.

His appointment adds further coverage in Central London for Moveli, which operates a network of self-employed property professionals across the UK.

Moveli Co-Founder Ben Littlewood said: “Trevor is exactly the type of experienced, entrepreneurial agent that Moveli was built for. Having successfully built and exited his own agency business and established an exceptional reputation across central London, we’re delighted he has chosen to join our growing network of experienced property professionals.”

Banbury added: “Moveli’s approach really resonates with me: experienced agents, genuine one-to-one service, and a real commitment to doing things properly for clients.”

Lawsons & Daughters strengthens leadership team with two senior hires

Paul Cook

West London estate agency Lawsons & Daughters has appointed Paul Cook as head of Sales and Anthony Wozniak as head of lettings as it seeks to expand its operations across West and South West London.

The independent agency, which operates in Hammersmith, Fulham, Wandsworth and neighbouring areas, said the appointments are intended to support the growth of its sales and lettings divisions.

Cook joins the role with 28 years of estate agency experience and will oversee the firm’s sales operation. Wozniak brings 17 years of experience across lettings, sales and property management, including roles with both corporate and independent agencies as well as running his own brokerage business.

The appointments form part of the agency’s plans to increase its presence in its core markets while continuing to develop its existing lettings business.

Sanjay Joshi, director at Lawsons & Daughters, said: “These appointments mark an exciting new chapter for Lawsons & Daughters. Over the past three decades we have built a strong reputation in the lettings market, and we are now investing in the people and expertise needed to grow our sales offering, while maintaining the personal service and local knowledge that clients know us for.
Anthony Wozniak

“Paul and Anthony both bring exceptional experience, strong local market knowledge and a shared commitment to delivering outstanding client service.

“Their appointments give us the leadership needed to grow the business while maintaining the personal approach that has defined Lawsons & Daughters for more than 30 years.

“As we continue to evolve, they will help us broaden our offering while staying true to the values that have earned the trust of local buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants for more than three decades.”

Cook commented: “Working within an independent, family-run agency means I have the time and freedom to go above and beyond for clients.

“Everyone here shares the same goal – to deliver the very best outcome for every buyer and seller we work with.

“My focus is to put Lawsons & Daughters firmly on the map for property sales in the local area, showcasing our expertise, personal service and deep understanding of the local market, and ultimately helping our clients buy or sell their homes.”

Wozniak added: “What attracted me to Lawsons & Daughters was the people, history and direction of the business.

“From my first conversations with the team, it was clear that the culture of the business reflects its leadership – there is a commitment to doing the right thing for clients.

“The lettings sector is going through a period of significant change, particularly with the Renters’ Rights Act coming into effect, but agencies like Lawsons & Daughters are well placed to thrive where others may struggle – especially when operating transparently, ethically and with strong systems in place.”
