Finnish SpaceTech company ICEYE secures €300 million revolving credit facility

Finnish SpaceTech company ICEYE today announced that it has secured a €300 million 3-year committed revolving credit facility (RCF) to support the issuance of guarantees for customer contracts, enable continued business growth, and serve as a liquidity backstop.

The RCF is backed by a seven-bank syndicate comprising Nordic, regional and global relationship banking partners. The complementary capabilities and collective operating footprint of the bank group are strategically aligned with ICEYE’s global expansion plan into new key markets, says ICEYE. Citi and Danske Bank acted as Joint Global Coordinators and Mandated Lead Arrangers

“2025 was a defining year for ICEYE as we scaled revenue, profitability, and cash generation simultaneously. The RCF origination reflects continued confidence in ICEYE’s business and demonstrates our ability to access diverse sources of capital to support rapid global growth. It also enhances our financial flexibility as demand for sovereign intelligence capabilities continues to grow exponentially,” said John Lauria, Global Head of Treasury, ICEYE.

Founded in 2015, ICEYE delivers persistent monitoring capabilities to detect and respond to changes in any location on Earth. It owns the world’s largest and most advanced SAR (synthetic aperture radar) satellite constellation.

It delivers high-quality intelligence to its customers with low latency and quick revisit times, regardless of weather or time of day. For governments operating the company’s own constellations, it offers this capability as a sovereign system. ICEYE-built constellations serve customers in defence and intelligence, environmental monitoring, insurance and emergency management.

Earlier this month, the company officially handed over MikroSAR, Poland’s sovereign radar satellite reconnaissance system, to the Polish Armed Forces less than 12 months after contract signing.

In March 2026, ICEYE successfully launched and deployed six new 25 cm resolution SAR satellites into orbit. The satellites were integrated by Exolaunch and successfully launched on March 30, 2026, aboard SpaceX’s Transporter-16 rideshare mission from Vandenberg Space Force Base, California, USA.

In January 2026, ICEYE and the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) signed a contract to deliver sovereign SAR systems for the Swedish Armed Forces. Prior to this, in December 2025, Rheinmetall and ICEYE secured a €1.7 billion space-based reconnaissance contract. As part of this contract, Rheinmetall ICEYE Space Solutions will supply the German Armed Forces with space-based reconnaissance data via exclusive access to a synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellite constellation.

In November 2025, Rheinmetall and ICEYE established their joint venture, Rheinmetall ICEYE Space Solutions GmbH, based in Neuss, Germany.

ICEYE also noted that the RCF enhances its position after a strong financial and operational performance in 2025, during which the company doubled in size. ICEYE anticipates similar growth in 2026. ICEYE operates globally with over 1,000 employees across Poland, Spain, the UK, Australia, Japan, the UAE, Greece, and the US.
