AgriRobot, a Lyngby-based company developing safety software for autonomous agricultural robots, has raised over €2.5M in equity and grant funding in its latest round, led by Norminal Ventures with participation from Tall Grass Ventures. AgriRobot specializes in functional safety for equipment manufacturers transitioning to autonomous operations. The company focuses on creating certifiable software to ensure the safe operation of autonomous tractors and robots without the need for constant human supervision. Drawing on technology used in self-driving cars and delivery robots, AgriRobot’s solutions aim to address safety challenges in autonomous farming. The funds will be used to accelerate software development and support further integration with various agricultural systems.
AgriRobot is developing certifiable software that eliminates the need for human operators to monitor robots in the field. Leveraging advanced technology from self-driving cars and last-mile delivery robots, AgriRobot’s software ensures the safety of autonomous tractors and robots, paving the way for a new era of efficient and sustainable farming.
