SPV Linea M4 (M4), a vehicle of Milan Municipality for the development and management of Milan’s underground line M4 (Blue Line), refinanced part of its debt with a green loan of 398 million euros (see here a previous post by BeBeez). BPER Banca, Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria, Banco BPM, BNP Paribas, CaixaBank, CDP, Crédit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank (CACIB), Intesa SanPaolo, and Société Générale provided such facility. M4 retained Arcus Financial Advisors, Intesa Sanpaolo, CDP, BNPP, Sustainalytics, and EY – Studio Legale Tributario. Emmanuel Conte, the financial director of Milan Municipality, previously said that M4 will save 15 million and lower the passive interest charges from 5.80% to 4%. In 2015, M4 attracted a 516 million project financing facility from Intesa SanPaolo, Unicredit, Monte Paschi Siena, BNP Paribas, Natixis, CACIB, and CDP. In 2019 and 2023, M4 reviewed the agreement with the lenders. Arrigo Giana is the ceo of ATM, Milan’s public transports company. KPMG Advisory and Chiomenti assisted Milan Municipality and ATM. The lenders hired Arup Italia, Marsh, PwC, and Legance. Federica Caimi and Alessandro Lamberti are the cfo and chairman of M4.
Consorzio Eteria, a vehicle of CDP and Itinera, will start soon the development of improvement works on Rome-Pescara train line with the resources of two advance payment bonds worth a total of 43.6 million euros (see here a previous post by BeBeez). InvestEU provided a warranty for 50% of the amount.
Kyip Capital (fka Kyma Investment Partners), an alternative asset manager with more than 190 million euros of resources, and Fondo Italiano d’Investimento (FII) acquired 70% of Reggio Emilia Errevi System, an ICT company (see here a previous post by BeBeez). KYIP Capital received assistance from PedersoliGattai, Pirola Pennuto Zei & Associati, OC&C and KPMG. Errevi System retained EY Parthenon, Sutich Barbieri Sutich and PPI & Partners. Clessidra Capital Credit provided a 17 million ESG unitranche facility. Merito also provided financing facilities. Errevi System has sales of 32.3 million, an ebitda in the region of 5 million and net cash of 10 million. Gianluca Losi is the ceo and founding partner of KYIP Capital.
