Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised The Carlyle Group on the sale of 1E to TeamViewer for an enterprise value of US$720 million.
“The successful sale of 1E by The Carlyle Group marks the culmination of the journey which we have supported The Carlyle Group and the company on since the initial acquisition from 1E’s founder, Sumir Karayi, and management back in 2021,” said White & Case partner Ken Barry, who co-led the Firm’s deal team.
1E is a workplace-software company that offers a digital employee experience platform that provides real-time diagnosis, remediation and automation to proactively fix IT issues. Founded in 1997 and headquartered in London, the business has around 300 employees across the UK, the US, India and Ireland.
TeamViewer is a global technology company that provides a connectivity platform to remotely access, control, manage, monitor and repair devices of any kind.
