The Week in AgriFoodTech: Indoor ag unicorn Bowery shuts down, Pymwymic launches second fund

Outside the US election (which could impact agrifood in multiple ways), the big news of the week was Bowery ceasing operations. Once a leader of the indoor ag pack, the company has now closed up shop and laid off its 187 workers.

In brighter news, high-tech shrimp farming company Oceanloop reeled in a €35 million ($38 million) loan from the European Investment Bank. and Dutch fund Pymwymic announced a new, oversubscribed fund focused on healthy food systems.
