AccorInvest, the 3.5 billion euros revenues French owner of hotel chains Sofitel, Ibis, Novotel and Mercure, is close to selling Sofitel Roma Villa Borghese and Sofitel Lisboa Liberdade to Gaw Capital, a Chinese private equity real estate (see here a previous post by BeBeez). The price for the two five-stars hotels is below the 100 million asking price of AccorInvest, press rumours say. JLL is acting as advisor for the sale of Sofitel Lisboa Libertade.
German activist investor Clearway Capital acquired a minority of Milan-listed Ray Way, the developer and manager of Italian national TV Rai‘s network (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Clearway will push for a merger of Rai Way with EI Towers, the owner of 2500 towers for TV signals that belongs to F2i (60%) and MFE-MediaForEurope (40%), a company bourn out of the merger of Mediaset Italia and Mediaset España.
Hesovisia Spv, a startup for luxury leisure real estate that ceo Gianluigi Casole and Andrea Scotti Calderini reated, raised 2.5 million euros (see here a previous post by BeBeez). The company attracted the resources of Gefira (current 16.5% owner), Drago Immobiliare (16.5%), Tivifin (8.2%), Gregoire Desforges (5.5%), and Luigi Berlusconi (2.7%).
Rhenus Logistics will be the first tenant of Giovi Logistics Park, an asset of 83000 sqms based between Milan and Genoa that Prelios is managing (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Garbe Industrial Real Estate Italy and SFO Capital Partners developed the park for which Dils and Colliers act as exclusive agents. Faustino Musicco heads the Logistics, Last Mile & Data Centers for Colliers Italia. Mariangela Conte is the Head of Asset Management of Garbe Industrial Real Estate.
