Vertis, AVM Gestioni, Eureka Venture, and Indaco Venture Partners received 10 million euros each from Equity Puglia, the programme of Apulia region’s financial unit Puglia Sviluppo that supports local startups and innovative SMEs with resources worth up to 120 million (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Chiomenti advised Puglia Sviluppo for launching the call for tender that attracted bids from asset managers. Equity Puglia has resources of 60 million for creating co-investiment vehicles. Grazia D’Alonzo is the chairwoma of Puglia Sviluppo that may increase its resources under management.
Cents, an early stage fintech for ethical marketing that Riccardo Valobra, Alessio Mazzalupi and Claudio Cardinale founded in 2021, said it attracted pre-seed facilities of 1.15 million euros from Fondo Umbria Ricerca e Innovazione (FURII) (see here a previous post by BeBeez). FNDX is the investment advisor of FURII, a vehicle of SICI – Sviluppo Imprese Centro Italia that invests the resources of Umbria Region, 40Jemz Ventures (fka Bonsai Ventures), Apside (a firm that belongs to Intesa SanPaolo and Digital Magics), Fin+Tech (an acceleration programme of CDP Venture Capital), and XEquity Venture Club, and other business angels. Cents will invest such resources in its European expansion and the development of its ‘Impact-as-a-Service’ (IAAS) model.
Progress Tech Transfer, an investment fund with 24 portfolio assets that MITO Technology launched in 2019, closed its investment period (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Francesco De Michelis (ceo) and Massimiliano Granieri are the founders of Progress Tech Transfer that raised 42 million euros from anchor investors The European Investmend Fund and CDP. Andrea Basso, Alberto Calvo, Michele Costabile, De Michelis, and Granieri, the partners of MITO, are going to launch MITO Tech Ventures I, a vehicle for the climate tech sector.
