Amsterdam-based Studytube, a customised learning platform for organisations, and Archipel Academy, an all-in-one AI-driven learning platform, announced that Archipel Academy will take over the ownership of Springest, a training marketplace, while Studytube will now cater to a selection of Springest’s esteemed clients.
This decision aims to enhance the learning experience for all organisations involved and further expand the reach of both Studytube and Archipel Academy in the European market.
Taking sides
Springest, a marketplace with over 300,000 courses from more than 8,000 different learning suppliers, will see a change in the distribution of its customer base.
Among the organisations that have transitioned to the Studytube learning platform are BAM, Eneco, Holland Casino, Athora, and Essent.
These companies have chosen Studytube to meet their training needs and provide their employees with a comprehensive learning experience.
Studytube offers a wide range of courses from various learning suppliers, ensuring that these organisations have access to high-quality training programmes.
Achmea, Volksbank, T-Mobile, Vattenfall, Aegon, NS, Stork, PostNL, and Siemens, have decided to remain on the Springest platform.
Why the acquisition?
With the acquisition of Springest, Archipel Academy significantly expands its learning offer.
Additionally, the company gains access to the existing Springest infrastructure in Germany, the United Kingdom, Scandinavia, and other European countries.
This expanded reach enables the Dutch platform to extend its marketplace and support more organisations throughout Europe in their quest to stay ‘fit for the future’.
The acquisition includes the trademark rights and the Springest platform.
Springest employees will be employed by Archipel Academy and will continue to operate from the Netherlands and Germany.
This transaction has no direct impact on the service of the respective marketplaces of Springest, Studytube, and/or Archipel Academy. Meaning, each marketplace will continue to operate independently, serving its respective customer bases with its unique offerings.
The announcement comes a few weeks after Archipel Academy acquired Berlin’s Quofox, a firm that offers digital corporate learning solutions and exclusive enterprise services.
Archipel Academy: All-in-one AI-driven learning platform
Based out of Gelderland, The Netherlands, Archipel Academy has been active as a broad learning partner with their all-in-one AI-driven learning platform since 2018.
It is an intelligent search and book content marketplace where the demand and supply of educational content converge in no fewer than 70,000 training courses.
