Italian-US Genenta Science aims to fetch up to 35 million US Dollars out of its ipo on Nasdaq, as BeBeez previously reported (see here a previous post by BeBeez). The company will also place american depositary shares and warrants worth up to 0.46 million. The warrant’s strike price amounts to 125% of the ipo’s. Genenta will invest the raised proceeds in R&D.
Solidus Labs, a fintech startup operating in the cryptocurrencies sector, raised 15 million US Dollars from Liberty City Ventures (lead investor), GSR and Exor Seeds, the venture capital arm of Milan-listed Exor (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Solidus Labs will invest the raised proceeds in its organic development. The company expects to generate 1.9 millions.
ArteOlio Società Agricola, an Italian producer of extra virgin olive oil into which Verteq Capital and Sici (Sviluppo Imprese Centro Italia) invested, attracted 4.5 million euros again from Verteq Capital (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Augusto Lippi is the chairman and founder of ArteOlio while Riccardo Schiatti is the ceo.
BionIT Labs, an Italian bionic and robotics startup for the healthcare sector, raised 3.5 million euros from Cdp Venture Capital sgr and Equiter (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Earlier in February, BionIT attracted part of the 1.3 million resources that Cdp Venture Capital sgr and The Qube poured in four startups. Giovanni Zappatore, Matteo Aventaggiato and Federico Gaetani founded BionIT Labs in 2018. The company will invest the raised proceeds in R&D.
TOT, a fintech startup for the digitalization of small enterprises, attracted a seed investment of 2 million euros that Banca Sella led (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Doris Messina, the Chief Digital Transformation Officer of Banca Sella, founded TOT with Andrea Susta and Bruno Reggiani.
Neuron Guard, a company active in developing, manufacturing, and clinical validation of devices based on temperature management, issued a 650k euros convertible bond that CDP Venture Capital subscribed (see here a previous post by BeBeez). In addition, A11 Venture and other investors poured a further 550k euros into the company. In 2013, Enrico Giuliani (ceo) and Mary Franzese (cmo) founded the company that will invest such proceeds in shortening its time to market.
Random Power, an Italian startup of the encryption sector, raised 200k euros from LIFTT (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Massimo Caccia founded Random Power which will invest the raised proceeds in its organic development. LIFTT is an ESG oriented investor and raised 28 million ahead of a target of 90 million by 2024. Fondazione LINKS, Compagnia di San Paolo and CRT have already poured resources into the fund.
Italian Angels for Growth, Club degli Investitori, Angels 4 Impact, and Angels 4 Women joined VC Hub Italia, an Italian association of venture capital investors that rebranded as Italian Tech Alliance (see here a previous post by BeBeez). The association appointed as directors Marianna Chillau, Gabriele Grecchi and Antonio Vecchio. The directors already in charge are Enrico Pandian, Stefano Portu, Gianluca Dettori, Alessio Beverina, Fausto Boni, Lucia Faccio, and Roberto Magnifico.
The European Commission will soon launch a one billion euros fund of venture capital and private equity funds for the space economy sector as part of the Cassini Space Entrepreneurship Initiative (See here a previous post by BeBeez). The Fund will support the upstream, midstream and downstream of the sector.
