Helbiz Inc, the US scooter sharing company that Italian entrepreneur Salvatore Palella founded, raised 7.13 million US Dollars out of a 10 million round that will allow the firm to list on Milan Aim market and on Nasdaq (see here a previous post by BeBeez). The company made such announcement on 8 August, while a on 14 August Milan Municipality suspended the circulation of scooters. However the company is already actrive in other cities in italy and in Europe and has a core business in car-sharing in the US.
Recrowd, an Italian real estate lending crowdfunding platform, raised 418,880 euros through an equity crowdfunding campaign on Opstart on the ground of a pre-money valuation of 3 million euros (see here a previous post by BeBeez). The company will invest 80% of these proceeds in online marketing activities, and 20% in its legal expenses. Gianluca de Simone (ceo), Simone Putignano (cfo), Massimo Traversi (coo), Massimo Mereghetti (business influencer) founded Recrowd, which in February 2019 joined Speed MI Up the business accelerator of Milan Bocconi University.
House4Crowd, the Italian real estate crowdfunding platform launched abut one year ago, hosted its first campaign (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Proptech, an Italian real estate company that belongs to Giuseppe Sansone, aims to raise 550k euros for refurbishing a 250 sqd meters flat based in Milan.
Bionit Labs, an Italian startup producer of bionic prosthesis Adam’s Hand, won the Tecnonidi tender for a 300k euros financing (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Tecnonidi is a program of the Apulia region that has resources for 30 million. Giovanni Zappatore, Matteo Aventaggiato and Federico Gaetani founded Bionit Labs in February 2018
Italian financial services firm In-Lire raised 500k euros through a capital increase that business incubator BeMyCompany led (see here a previous post by BeBeez). BeMyCompany istself invested 100k euros in the business that Italian – Japanese entrepreneur Romi Fuke founded.
Italian International and Lazio footballer Ciro Immobile invested in OFFLunch, a food delivery company that launched an equity crowdfunding campaign on CrowdFundMe. This is just the last investment of a number in Italian startups by the Italian footballer (see here a previous post by BeBeez).
