Investcorp, the Bahrein based private equity firm with over 30 years of experience in high potential business, acquired a majority stake in Corneliani (see the press release). Bebeez already antipated the fact (see the article). During the fiscal year 2015 the Corneliani group had revenues of about € 130 ml. (80% of which produced abroad) with a presence in 168 different countries (US, Europe, Asia and some emerging market). Harrods, Harvey Nichols, Saks Fifth Avanue e Bloomingdales are some of the renown places where the brand is findable. The EV is almost € 100 ml. The target is to accelerate the international development of the brand. Corrado, Cristiano and Stefano Corneliani will retain their shareholdings. During the last 60 years, Corneliani became one of the best renowned brands in luxury menswear. The Corneliani’s declared that today their ambition is to obtain the same results Investcorp already obtained after the acquisition of Gucci, Tiffany & co. and Dainese.
