Francesco Panfilo leaves PM&Partners spa, MF-Milano Finanza writes today. Panfilo, who was one of the private equity manager of the first hour in Italy, sold his 37.5 pct stake in PM&Parnters spa capital to his partnersi Andrea Mugnai and Massimo Grasselli and will focus on a new personal project.
Panfilo’s step back happens as the second and last PM&Partners’ private equity fund, which raised 340 million euros in December 2008, terminated its investing period.
PM&Partners’s potfolio counts todaystakes in seven Italian SMEs: Alfatherm, Vimec, Emmeti, Relevi, La Patria, Moviso and Plastiape (the latter bought about one year ago).
