Jobmetoo, an Italian online disability recruitment platform, received 500k euros investment from Italian-French venture capital firm 360 Capital Partners and a group of existing shareholders, each identified by U-Start, a boutique advisory services for investors in the fields of seed and early stage investment (download here the English press release).
The new cash will be used to expand the Jobmetoo service offer significantly, including marketing and advertising, supporting a greater number of disabled job-hunters.
Launched in 2011, Jobmetoo was founded by Daniele Regolo who experienced personal difficulty when searching for employment due to his hearing impairment. Jobmetoo was chosen as a finalist at the 360by360 Competition. The event serves as a contest for innovative companies to compete for 360k US dollars of investment.
Further to the deal itself, Jobmetoo has made two significant appointments to its board. Danilo Galeotti has been appointed as Ceo and Matteo Venturi has been appointed as Cmo.
