BeBeez Trading Floor roundup with eToro support about the performances of private capital firms listed on global exchanges.

One of the most important aspects of the current macroeconomic environment is the stability of interest rates. The ECB left interest rates unchanged following a Governing Council meeting in which Christine Lagarde said she will resign as chairwoman. Traders have already priced in their expectations of a rate rise by the Fed in December 2026. The key drivers in the private capital sector were factors closely linked to fund managers and the companies in their portfolios.

In 3Q26, NYSE-listed Blue Owl (+10.4%) reported a record level of assets under management, at 330 billion US Dollars (up 12% on the previous 12 months), total revenue of 752 million (above the 698 million that analysts expected), earnings per share exceeding the dividend level, confirming the sustainability of the latter, as well as a reduction in redemption requests compared with the previous quarter, which enabled the firm to meet 30%, compared with 22% in the peak of June (quarterly presentation).

NYSE-listed Cion Investment Corporation (+7.7%) benefited of a shareholders’ more positive attitude towards private credit and the Business Development Corporations (BDCs) that Blue Owl manages.

London-listed 3i plc (+7.1%) attracted traders’ money as the improvement of political situation in France is of benefit to Action, the Dutch retailer which accounts for almost 70% of the firm’s NAV.

NYSE-listed Apollo Commercial Real Estate Finance (-63%) plummeted due to the payment of a liquidation dividend of 4.1 US Dollars per share, a technical factor.

The entire property finance sector in the US has been going through a difficult period for some time now. For such a reason traders penalised NYSE-listed KKR Real Estate Finance Trust (-8.2%) which has a big exposure to the offices segment.
