G Square Healthcare Private Equity partly financed its take private offer on Milan-listed MedTech with the issuance of a bond that Muzinich subscribed G Ssquare invested 59.33 million euros (11,87 euros per share) for purchasing 81.84% of Valtecne from the ceo Paolo Mainetti and the founder Vittorio Mainetti on the ground of a 72.5 million equity value (see here a previous post by BeBeez). The bidder may pay a further 12.57 – 13.44 million. After the delisting, Valtecna belongs to G Square (51.1%), Paolo Mainetti (45.2%) and Luigi Ferrari (3.7%) who advised the vendors and reinvested in the company.
