Nuveen Real Estate will invest 100 million euros for acquiring three logistic assets in Milan area from Kryalos that will keep managing the fully rented buildings (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Colliers acted as deal originator and advisor. Nuveen Real Estate retained Savills team for Industrial & Logistics. One of the assets may receive the BREEAM Very Good certification. Thorsten Kiel is Nuveen’s Head of Industrial and Logistics, Real Estate, Europe.
Walliance, a fintech that ceo Giacomo Bertoldi heads, signed a partnership with Joivy and launched Direct Investments for the purchase of selected flats, and is developing a new approach to investing in income-generating residential and commercial property (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Such a venture will allow investors to acquire direct ownership of properties that Joivy will publicize on the channels of Walliance which instead will provide a selection of opportunities and services for the transaction. Such a partnership was the first step of Landlord project. On 11 September, Friday, Walliance and Luiss Business School released the Real Estate Crowdfunding Report.
Foruminvest Italia, a subsidiary of Dutch developer Foruminvest, appointed TRIBE, Paris-listed Accor’s lifestyle brand, for the new four-star hotel with 279 rooms that it is developing in Milan Linate Airport area (see here a previous post by BeBeez). In July 2026, Foruminvest Italia said it acquired from Ambrostore an area of 11070 sqmqs for such development that may complete in 1Q28 and Amapa Group, an Italian white-label hotel operator, will manage. Foruminvest retained Gruppo BD, RIZOMA Architetture, Fortvny, SOLVING, Ashurst Perkins Coie, and general contractor Gruppo BRB. The hotel construction will comply with the nZEB (nearly Zero Energy Building) standards and apply for a LEED Gold certification. Ezio Romani is the chief executive officer of Amapa Group. Giacomo Silvestri is the general manager of Foruminvest Italia.
Bizzi & Partners, a real estate developer that Davide Bizzi head, acquired a building in Milan’s Corso Magenta with the support of two undisclosed partners (see here a previous post by BeBeez). The buyers carried on a securitisation and attracted a senior loan for financing the transaction. Bizzi & Partners and its co-investors will buy the junior asset backed partly paid notes. Banca Finint acted as the securitization’s arranger, servicer, account bank, corporate servicer, calculation agent, and representative of the securities holders. Bizzi & Partners Development will act as asset manager. DLA Piper is the securitization drafting counsel. K&L Gates is the drafting counsel for the financing.
Sources said to BeBeez that Gibeon Partners, a real estate investor that Algebris Investments alumnus Alessandro Ahmad founded, attracted a senior banking loan from Tyche Bank and a PIK mezzanine facility maturity on 29 July 2028 while Blcp1, a club deal that Blue Lake Partners (BLP) led, poured equity in the project (see here a previous post by BeBeez). The mezzanine notes pay a 6M Euribor plus a little below 11% coupon and a variable remuneration component linked to the performance of the property project. Gibeon will invest such resources in the conversion of an office building at 20 Via Deruta, Milan, into a residential building with 130 flats of a median size of 60 sqms and 800 sqms of high-street retail premises. Davide Grossi and Mario Resca head BLP. Gianni & Origoni assisted the lenders that Azimut Direct coordinated.
Recrowd, the Italian property lending crowdfunding platform that Banca d’Italia suspended from the provision of brokerage services in connection with the granting of loans on 31 July 2025, can operate again (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Between October 2025 an August 2026, the company carried on capital increases of 5.32 million euros and appointed Andrea Clamer and Giorgio Bruno as ceo and chairman for supporting the co-founders Gianluca De Simone and Simone Putignano. Elena Perriello will head the operations. Hyperion Investor, a Luxembourg vehicle of Bruno, has now 49.5% of Recrowd. Emiliano Di Bartolo and Antonio Ferrara are the co-ceos of Hyperion in which also invested Emanuele Grippo. Recrowd also belongs to Clamer, Massimiliano Ingrosso and Stefano Platini (13.42%).
