With NORDEEP 2026 now one week away, the Nordic Deep Tech Business Summit has opened its SiRA™ Connect matchmaking platform, giving attendees the opportunity to arrange one-on-one meetings ahead of the two-day event in Espoo on September 16–17.

Hosted by ArcticStartup, NORDEEP 2026 will bring together more than 1,500 founders, 150 specialist venture capital investors, academic leaders, corporates and other deep tech ecosystem stakeholders at Dipoli on the Aalto University campus.

The SiRA™ Connect platform is designed to help attendees identify potential investors, scientific founders, corporate buyers and other relevant connections based on their technology interests and investment focus. Participants can browse attendee profiles, filter potential contacts and request meetings before arriving at the event.

Alongside the matchmaking programme, NORDEEP 2026 will feature masterclasses and smaller sessions focused on some of the practical challenges facing research-driven companies as they move from the laboratory toward commercialization.

The European Innovation Council will host a session on accessing European funding, covering eligibility for non-dilutive grants and equity financing. Business Finland will also lead a session on early-stage innovation funding, including how startups can approach applications, validate their business models and prepare for international expansion.

Another EIC session will focus on getting technologies pilot-ready, examining how technical roadmaps, early partnerships and funding plans can be aligned with the requirements of future pilots.

For investors, the Natural Resources Institute Finland (LUKE) will host a private Investor Breakfast featuring research-to-business teams and nature-based spinouts progressing from research toward commercialization.

The main programme will run across eight strategic tracks, covering areas including Quantum & Future Computing, Physical AI and Robotics, Chips & Semiconductors, Life Sciences, and Dual-Use Security. The programme will combine technical presentations, reverse pitching sessions and expert discussions.

NORDEEP 2026 will also feature the Global Deep Tech Showcase & Awards, where selected founders, university spinouts and research ventures will present their technologies in short demonstration sessions. Participants will have three minutes to demonstrate their technology, followed by two minutes of questions from the jury, with each company also expected to communicate a specific request to potential investors or industrial partners.

The final showcase and finalist lineup will be revealed during the event week.

The formal programme will conclude with the NORDEEP Official After Party on September 17, providing attendees with an informal setting for further networking.

NORDEEP 2026 will take place at Dipoli, Aalto University Campus in Espoo, with doors opening at 08:30 EEST on September 16 and the main programme beginning at 09:30. Attendees can reach the venue via the Aalto University/Otaniemi metro station, approximately a five-minute walk from Dipoli.

With the event now seven days away, attendees are being encouraged to activate their SiRA™ Connect accounts and begin arranging meetings ahead of the summit.
