The results for the Best Estate Agent Guide 2026/27 have been published, with the industry’s top-performing agents now confirmed ahead of the overall winners being unveiled at this year’s EA Masters on 3 November.
The assessment analysed every residential property listing across the UK, covering both sales and lettings, against the performance measures that more than 250,000 home movers say matter most when choosing an agent.
These include whether a property successfully sold or let, how quickly a deal progressed, whether transactions fell through or reached exchange or check-in, how closely the achieved price matched the original asking figure, and the standard of customer service delivered throughout the process.
Unlike many industry awards, the Best Estate Agent Guide compares agents directly against competitors operating in the same local markets and includes every estate agency brand, regardless of size or business model.
Agencies can now check whether they have secured a place in the 2026/27 guide.
Peter Knight said the awards are designed to measure real-world performance across the entire market.
He commented: “These awards are unlike any other in the industry. Every single estate agency, regardless of size, location, or business model is included. Every single listing that appeared on the internet, on any of the portals or agents’ own websites is included and carefully examined on a hyperlocal basis.
“If your agency has won a Silver or Gold Award you should be proud to know that you’ve won on this basis – it’s by far the most comprehensive and rigorous analysis, and therefore by far the hardest to win.”
The overall winners of the most coveted trophies in the sector will be announced on November 3rd at EA Masters. Tickets to the estate agency event of the year are now available here.
