The Nicholas Humphreys Sheffield West office has been sold to experienced property professional Mark Linley following the retirement of long-standing owners Nicholas and Sue Lambrou.
The business, which will continue to operate under the support network of The Property Franchise Group, will remain at its existing premises with all staff retained, ensuring continuity of service for clients across the Sheffield market.
Linley, who has worked alongside the outgoing owners over the past year, takes over the franchise with experience spanning property development, education and senior management. His background also includes residential renovation and construction, alongside hands-on experience in lettings as a landlord.
Linley said: “I’m delighted to be taking on the Sheffield West office and building on the excellent reputation Nicholas and Sue have established over many years. Having worked closely with them, I’ve gained a deep understanding of both the business and the needs of our clients.
“Our priority is continuity, maintaining the same high standards of service, with the same team and from the same office. At the same time, I’m committed to strengthening the business further, particularly as the sector prepares for significant legislative changes.”
Nicholas will remain involved in the business during a transitional period, providing ongoing support and continuity, while Sue will continue in her longstanding operational role.
Ellie Hall, group managing director of Nicholas Humphreys, commented: “We’re delighted to welcome Mark as the new franchise owner of our Sheffield West office. His commitment to professional development, combined with his practical property experience and client-focused approach, makes him an excellent fit for the Nicholas Humphreys network.
“We would also like to thank Nicholas and Sue for their years of dedication and the strong foundations they have built. We’re pleased they will continue to support the business during this transition, ensuring it remains in very capable hands.”
