Xoople, a Madrid-based Earth data infrastructure company building a global record system for physical change on Earth, has closed a €112.6 million ($130 million) Series B funding round, increasing its total funding to €195 million ($225 million).
The round was backed by investors including Nazca Capital, MCH, CDTI (Government of Spain), Buenavista Equity Partners, and Endeavor Catalyst. The company claims that this capital makes it the top-funded company in the category.
“Every major computing era creates a new system of record; those that define that system become the economic centres of that era. CRMs gave companies a system of record for customers. Cloud platforms create systems of record for software and data. We are building the system of record for the physical world in the AI era with Xoople. After seven years developing our system in stealth, we are incredibly excited to begin commercialisation in Q2 and start scaling up that capability in the market,” said Fabrizio Pirondini, CEO of Xoople
Founded in 2019, Xoople emerged from stealth in May 2025. It’s on a mission to give organisations access to real-time physical-world intelligence powering the next generation of AI systems. The company is building a proprietary end-to-end value chain that delivers accurate, verifiable time-series measurements of the Earth, integrated with leading cloud and data platforms.
According to the company, as AI systems increasingly transition from analysis to autonomous action through agentic workflows, the need for and ability to easily ingest reliable ground-truth data about the physical world is expected to grow rapidly. Xoople believes that this is crucial for optimising supply chains, managing infrastructure, underwriting risk, responding to disasters, and monitoring geopolitical and security risks.
As models become more commoditised, proprietary datasets that link digital systems to the physical world are emerging as an essential source of advantage. Xoople refers to this infrastructure and data layer as the “Earth’s System of Record,” and the company believes it will be transformative in giving AI a real-time understanding of the physical world.
The startup claims to be transforming Earth into a continuously measured, AI‑ready data layer that connects models, software, and agents directly to reality.
Xoople’s private preview customers include government agencies and Fortune 500 companies that utilise the intelligence to support supply chain optimisation and infrastructure monitoring, agricultural forecasting and resource planning, insurance risk modelling and disaster response, urban planning and infrastructure resilience, and scenario planning and forecasting.
