Italian renewable energy Moncada received the advisory support of L&B Partners for a 41.2 million euros financing facility from Banco BPM and BPER (see here a previous post by BeBeez). The company will invest such proceeds in the construction of a photovoltaic plant in Agrigento (Sicily), Fm Notai acted as public notary while Legance, REA, Willis, and KPMG advised the lenders. Gruppo ImmobiliarEuropea attracted a 20 million euros financing facility of the European Investment Bank (EIB) for the development of Messina’s (Sicily) shopping mall Zafferia (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Sinloc Investimenti and ADB Corporate Advisory launched Basket Bond Piemonte (BBP), a 75 million euros programme for local SMEs of which Mediocredito Centrale will subscribe 50% of the portfolio value while local anchor investor Finpiemonte will pour 7.5 million and Fondo Centrale di Garanzia will provide the warranty (see here a previous post by BeBeez). The median ticket of the issuance is of 1 million, the Piedmont Region will support the issuers with non-repayable grants to reduce transaction costs. Further financial investors may pour up to 30 million in non-repayable grants to reduce emission costs. Michele Vietti is the chairman of Finpiemonte and Mario Alparone acts as coo. Andrea Tronzano is the Region’s councillor for the development of productive activities while Elena Chiorino is the vice chair. Lorenzo Coletta heads the Bond desk of Mediocredito Centrale.
