Dexters has completed the acquisition of Tattlers, a long-established firm with a large property management portfolio, in what is expected to be one of the final deals overseen by chief executive Andy Shepherd ahead of his handover to Ash Kashyap next month.
EYE understands staff across both businesses have been informed, although no official announcement has been made public.
Founded 40 years ago, Tattlers operates mainly across Muswell Hill, Crouch End and East Finchley, offering sales, lettings, new homes and property management services.

The acquisition increases Dexters’ number of high street offices in London by three, though there are currently no plans to rebrand the Tattlers business.
The Dexters group, chaired by Justin King – previously chief executive of Sainsbury’s – now operates close to 200 offices across London following the latest acquisition.
The company says it manages almost 50,000 landlords and serves over 200,000 active buyers and tenants.
EYE approached Dexters for comment, but the company declined to provide a statement.
