BeBeez Trading Floor roundup with eToro support about the performances of private capital firms listed on global exchanges.
Canadian NYSE-listed Brookfield (+6.1%) attracted investors resources because of its strategy oriented to the development of data centres and low exposure to the software sector on which artificial intelligence may have a strong impact.
NYSE-listed BDCs New Mountain Finance (+4.5%) and FS KKR Capital Corp (+3.6%) and other competitors benefited of the doubts’ dispelling about the sustainability of US economic growth and of consolidating expectations of further interest rates cuts of the Federal Reserve in 2026. Such a scenario improves the quality of credits portfolios and makes more stable the dividends flow.

Furthermore, the Small Business Administration (SBA) and Small Business Investment Company (SBIC) programmes reduced the regulatory barriers and incentivized the private capitals to invest in BDCs. However, investors are still cautious on FS KKR and expect the firm to release its 4Q25 results and non-accruals payments on 25 February, Wednesday.
Investors fear the exposure to software sector of NYSE-listed private equity giants Tpg (-10%) and Carlyle (-7.2%).
